VT220 seems to work for me okay. One problem is that the "resize"
program doesn't correctly set the size of the display. Another is
that you may be set up wrong in the terminal setup.
Answer #1: at the athena prompt before trying emacs, type
stty rows 24 columns 80
Answer #2: Press alt-s, try other possibilies... There's terminal
emulation in there, you can try vt100...
VT220 definitely works with emacs for me, though.
