The 2002 ACM-SIGUCCS Fall conference will be held in beautiful Providence,
Rhode Island from November 20 to 23, 2002. This is the 30th Annual
SIGUCCS User Services Conference and is one of the premier conferences for
user support/information technology professionals in higher education.
The Call for Participation is now underway. Presentations are the heart of
the conference; we encourage you to participate! We are seeking papers
discussing topics of interest to IT professionals such as training,
general support issues, faculty support and up and coming issues.
You may submit an abstract for a paper, panel discussion, workshop,
or poster session. The deadline for abstracts is MAY 1, 2002 with
acceptance notification by June 5th. Accepted papers will then be due
July 17th. Please check the

The Fall User Services Conference is an excellent forum for user services
professionals to explore issues and propose solutions to the information
technology problems that we all face.
