As most of you may be aware of, there is a National Appreciation Day
for Residence Hall Staff. For two years, the RCCs here at UNC
Greensboro have been overlooked - although they are technically housing employees.
For that reason, I'm wondering if anyone has ever thought about creating
a National ResNet Staff Appreciation Day? On that day, each school
could locally celebrate their staff in whatever way deemed necessary.
To help make this more "official," perhaps we could get it "blessed"
and recognized by ACUHO-I.
This would be a way to recognize the ResNet student-staff for their good
work; regardless if they were on the technical or housing side of the fence.
I don't mind working on this, but would need some help from someone with
some contacts in ACUHO-I (as I'm not well-versed with that
organization). Anyone interested?
