ResNet seminar pre-EDUCOM and/or CAUSE?

Having just returned from CAUSE94, which featured a two-hour ResNet
discussion organized by Ann Stunden, I'm led to ask the group:
* Would there be interest in a half-day or all-day seminar on res hall
networking, to be presented next October prior to EDUCOM'94 in San
Antonio and/or next November, prior to CAUSE94 in Orlando?
* If so, who could volunteer to organize it (them)? I would volunteer,
except that my previous commitment to be program chair for CAUSE94 will
keep me extremely busy this year.
* Would such a seminar(s) conflict with the ResNet conference that
Stanford has generously offered to host on its campus next summer? If so,
I'd suggest we focus on the Stanford event. If not, how might the two
events be complementary?
Deadline for proposals (CAUSE and EDUCOM handle proposals jointly) is
mid-January. If there's interest, I can probably arrange to have the call
for seminar proposals posted to this list. Any reactions?
