Leo,

There is a software product called LaserBridge that will allow access
to both Localtalk and Ethertalk. It is produced by Sonic Systems of
Sunnyvale CA. You can reach them at 408-736-1900. We have been using
this product succesfully for exactly the situation you describe. In
Faculty/Staff offices we have used AsantePrint localtalk to ethernet
bridging devices to accomplish more or less the same thing too.
