Hi all,
I apologize to anyone wo receives this as a result of cross-posting.
We are making a couple of impactful changes in the coming months:
1. We are implementing 802.1x authentication for wireless and
recommending Eduroam for our BYOD users
2. We are implementing a password policy that will eventually require a
periodic (once per year) password change.
Our testing of 802.1x, and especially Eduroam, indicates that reconnecting
to wireless after a password change might be confusing for our users. Could
any other institutions, especially those which have implemented Eduroam,
share your experiences with this? Do you have any documentation or other
tips for making reconnecting easier after a password change?
