Have you always wanted to host the Student Technology Conference?
*GOOD NEWS! The Conference Selection Committee has extended the deadline
for 2019 host bid proposals!*

Hosting a Student Technology Conference provides you and your colleagues an
opportunity to highlight your institution. While hosting can be a
challenge, it can also be a fun and rewarding experience, allowing you and
your colleagues to develop many skills. 2019 might seem like a long time
from now, but having this much time to plan and prepare will allow you to
hold a very successful conference.
*The bid process has 3 phases:*
*Phase 1 (due Friday, March 17)*
Submit a letter of intent to the Conference Selection Committee. The letter
should contain your reasons for wanting to host, as well as an indication
of support from your immediate supervisor.
*Phase 2 (due Friday, May 26)*
Create a website highlighting your campus venues in relation to hosting the
conference.
*Phase 3 (Spring/Summer)*
If your institution is selected as a finalist, one or two members of the
Conference Selection Committee will come for a site visit in early
Spring/Summer.

assist you with the process.
