We are running Windows 10 (LTSB) with Microsoft Office 2016 Professional =
Plus installed on our lab PCs. During the install all features were set =
=E2=80=9Cto run from my computer.=E2=80=9D The systems are fully =
updated.

When we did the Office install, we failed to catch during our testing =
process the fact that the =E2=80=9CCitations and Bibliography=E2=80=9D =
section of the =E2=80=9CReferences=E2=80=9D tab was greyed out. The =
remainder of the =E2=80=9Creferences=E2=80=9D tab is fully functional as =
are all other Office features.

I have tried changing the installation in the Programs and Features =
control panel. Add or remove features, or repair has no effect.

Google searches seem to indicate that this is an issue that goes back to =
Microsoft Office 2003, affecting 2003, 2007, 2010, and 2013. None of the =
documentation I have found speaks to Office 2016 and Windows 10. Some =
of the suggested solutions say to replace a couple of registry keys but =
the keys mentioned are from an earlier version of Office.

The only working solution suggested is to uninstall Office, then =
reinstall. Unfortunately, this is not a workable solution on over 200 =
computers.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a registry entry =
that can be modified to resolve the issue? Some solution other than =
uninstall and reinstall? =20

Thanks.
