We are in the same boat. Some of our students are RAs or Orientation
Leaders who have manadatory training or worse yet, work days in their other
jobs during our training time. This year we are determined to implement an
LMS course with basic info to help with the problem. Two years ago we
required boot camp, which was 4 days. This year we are down to 1 day of
training for new staff and 1/2 day for returning staff. I still don't know
who will attend and who will not. It certainly does put the burden squarely
on the shoulders of our professional staff. I feel your pain.
