Jim, I've done some reporting, feel free to email me details offline.
Variable permissions can be adjusted but it can run into problems with upgr=
ades. It would be better to create a role that would give you access to the=
variable and then assign you the role, than change the way the variable is=
set up.

Subject: ServiceNow Question
Any ServiceNow experts out there? I have a question regarding reporting on =
catalog tasks. I have an item with variables specific to that item. I'd lik=
e to run a report that shows those variables. I can't figure out how to do =
that.
Related, but sorta separate, the variables seem to be protected by security=
settings and limited to view of people with the admin role and not itil us=
ers. Is there a way to easily adjust that?
Thanks,
Jim
