Bucknell University seeks a Digital Pedagogy Specialist to begin in the
summer of 2016. As a member of the Digital Pedagogy and Scholarship Group
(formerly known as ITEC: Instructional Technology Enhancing the
Curriculum), the Digital Pedagogy Specialist collaborates with faculty,
staff, and students to utilize digital tools and methodologies to enhance
teaching, learning, and research at the University. We seek a candidate who
embraces hard work, dedication, and laughter while working in a
team-oriented group. In addition, they should be naturally curious, possess
a willingness to embrace change, take intellectual risks, challenge
assumptions, relish tinkering with new technologies, and have experience
working across disciplines and in a range of learning environments. The
specialist is expected to contribute to Bucknell's commitment to diversity
and inclusiveness.
*Qualifications:*
- B.A. required
- 2-3 years of demonstrated work experience with technologies related to
teaching and learning in Higher Education
- ability to write clear, accurate communications, and other
documentation
- experience in developing instructional resources
- ability to set priorities and manage work and deadlines independently
- experience planning and executing workshops or evidence of instruction
and/or teaching
- evidence of pedagogical collaborations
- effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusiveness
