St. Bonaventure has provided this type of service in the past by just using a simple Axis camera setup on our network pointing to the construction project. Not much cost to set up. Basically the camera and a PoE data connection.
Let me know if you have any specific questions on this. I'm happy to provide any information I can.

Subject: Construction Camera
I have been asked to install a camera to view the construction of a new residence hall. Has anyone weighed the pros and cons of doing this in-house versus hiring a company to provide a turnkey solution.
Does anyone have any financials that they would like to share? Camera, software, or hardware recommendations?
Thanks,
Douglas
