Greetings!
What I'd like to see at this year's Student Technology Confe=
rence at Purdue is YOUR presentation. Especially if you've never done one b=
efore. Do you have a notion and believe with some work and some grant money=
you could probably develop it into concept? Then with more work and a bit =
more money, you could develop it into an idea? Well, I don't have any grant=
money, but I am this year's theme guide for the Leadership & Management th=
eme. Defined roughly as "Leading your team, all that training, and connecti=
ng with your clients!"
So if you have a notion for a presentation that fits that ge=
neral area, and there is a lot of overlap between the various themes, I can=
help you develop your notion into a concept, then an idea, then into a pro=
posal, then into a presentation. But time is running out! There's only 10 d=
ays left to submit your proposal.

Let me emphasis, you don't have to have a complete presentat=
ion ready in order to put in your proposal. Trust me, the fact you need to =
have it ready by June will spur your efforts. The thought of presenting bef=
ore your peers is scary at first, but it can be very fulfilling, both perso=
nally and professionally. I am available to brainstorm, proofread, make sug=
gestions, anything you need to help you along, as are the other Theme Guide=
s. So take that leap and do it now! See you at Purdue!
