At UM, we have UMwpa for our campus wireless and UMdorms for our residence hall wireless; we also have a guest network.

At UNL, we have two SSIDs, UNL-AIR and UNL-AIR-E, but they are the same in the Residence Halls as on the rest of campus. UNL-AIR-E is the encrypted network.

Here at Cal Poly we house around 7000 students. ResNet is a separate network than the rest of campus. We are currently implementing a wireless network through out our Housing facilities we currently only have it in the common areas and the SSID is ResNet wireless so we have always been able to tell the difference between ResNet wireless and the rest of campus wireless ssid. For those of you that have wireless in housing is the ssid name different for the Residence Hall than the main campus.
