Information Security & Policy Officer

Lehigh University is seeking an Information Security and Policy Officer
who is responsible for the strategic planning, development,
implementation, and management of an effective information security
program for the University. This includes ensuring the security of both
publicly available and administrative computing and communications
systems, and the integrity and privacy of any information maintained on
these systems.
This position will also have understanding of the legal issues
pertaining to computing, networking, and telecommunications, and work
with various University departments and committees to develop policies
and procedures to ensure compliance with these issues and to educate the
University community on these issues.
The Security Officer will implement and direct campus-wide security
procedures & policies including a security awareness program. This
position will also lead the response to information security incidents;
provide specialized consulting, materials, programs and analysis related
to computer, information and network security, and identity management,
including information & input to strategic and tactical planning; work
with campus safety, legal and administrative staff, as well as with
Library & Technology Services (LTS) staff, to develop compliance
strategies to best address campus electronic data security.
The position requirements include:
-a Bachelor's degree in Computing, Information Systems or a Computer
related discipline
-5 to 8 years of related work experience
-solid skills in networking and computer forensics
-professional security certification as a plus
-the salary range for the position is in the low 80's

Lehigh University is seeking a Senior Computing Consultant. This
position will assist users in the design, implementation & use of
computing systems; provide documentation, training, & consulting
services; diagnose & resolve problems; advise & provide technical
expertise.
The position requirements include:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Information Sciences or related field
required
-3 to 5 years related work experience
-Experience working in a higher education and/or supporting
executive-level clientele is ideal.
-the salary range for the position is in the mid 50's
