Hi Folks!

So everything old is new again.

Way back when there was a more centralized model for student support. We had a center in the middle of campus that supported students, in addition to other folks, that was open 9 am - 5 pm. We moved to a distributed model with student support happening in our residential computer labs.

We are now thinking of trying some re-centralization.

Has anyone done this? Gone from decentralized back to a centralized model?

How did it work out for you? Why did you do it? Things you should have done differently?

I realize I'm not giving many specifics because right now this is kind of a philosophical discussion.

If you'd rather discuss this privately let me know.

Thanks bunches!
Caroline
