What kinds of wars are YOU waging? The Student Technology Conference wants=
to hear!
Are you battling viruses or enhancing software distribution? Are you bolst=
ering the dissemination of information within your team? Are you upgrading=
your customer service skills or contributing to process improvement? Are =
you being reorganized and finding ways to make it work? Are you offering n=
ew services that others don't or in a new way? Can you fly without the hel=
p of a machine and live to tell about it?
The Student Technology Conference and Purdue University invite you to share=
your experience with others and build a network of colleagues while doing =
so. If your idea falls within one of the topics mentioned above you may su=
bmit it under the "Support Operations" theme. It can be 40 to 50 minute pr=
esentation with time for questions, a panel discussion where you collaborat=
e with other institutions to show a few different points of view, or a stru=
ctured discussion where you facilitate a conversation. If none of these so=
und appealing, you could try a lightning round where you share your topic i=
n 5 to 7 minutes (lightning round theme), or a poster session where you sha=
re your idea visually and start some informal discussions (poster session t=
heme).
I guarantee that you will find any of these a positive experience. If you =
have any questions, need a little guidance, or want to find someone to pair=
up with, please email me and I'd be glad to help (avoelker@wcu.edu<mailto:=
avoelker@wcu.edu>) . I can't wait to see you in Purdue.
