ResNet's 2013 Student Technology Conference is now accepting presentation p=
roposals for the annual symposium to be held June 21 - 25 at Purdue Univers=
ity in West Lafayette, Indiana. The presentation sessions are the backbone =
of the conference: they both pass along knowledge and open up new opportuni=
ties for conversation and exploration.
This years' presentations are being organized into five main tracks:
* Cool Tools - "Software you use to get the job done."
* Current Computing - "Virtualization, cloud solutions, software-as=
-a-service, mobile devices and more!"
* Leadership & Management - "Leading your team, all that training, =
and connecting with your clients!"
* Network Technology - "WiFi, NAC, bandwidth management, and other =
connectivity and network services."
* Support Operations - "Tips from the trenches: things that make su=
pport operations work with from a technician's standpoint."
This year we will also be featuring two symposium firsts:
* A lightning round for flash presentations of 5 to 7 minutes, perf=
ect when you have something you want to show off, demonstrate, or get peopl=
e talking about.
* A poster session, for content people can take in at a glance or t=
ake their time with - whatever works for them, rather than for you as the p=
resenter.
