Hi Chuck,

We at UCSC use SafeConnect.  We have over 7k residential students, our 
move in is similar to yours and we too are using Cisco gear. Overall, we 
have been very happy with SafeConnect and have never had any problems 
with the numbers of students logging in simultaneously.  If your 
engineer would like to talk to ours .. let me know.
