We currently have Cisco routers & are also in the midst of evaluating
Cabletron equipment. Cabletron has interface modules for their hubs that
are based on Cisco routing technology. Has anyone used or implemented these
cards? (I think the specific part number is CRM3-E or CRM3-E depending on
Ethernet or Token Ring connections).

Some of the vendor contacts we have haven't been very enthusiastic about
incorporating these 2.

I would be interested in hearing from anybody who has utilized these modules
or who has an opinion on the integration of the routing modules into the hub
boxes.

Thanks.

I would echo what Bill has said. We use Cabletron hubs and Cisco routers and
are very happy with performance and support. The only thing I would add is
that
I have had to beat up Cabletron on the price occasionally to get them to
quote
something comparable to other vendors.
