Hi,

I am trying to decide which Ethernet cards to select as our standard supported
NIC cards for the dorm project.  Cabletron is our network equipment supplier;
they are willing to match a price of their cards with any other vendor's
prices. According to Cabletron, their cards are fastest than any other on the
market, they have a full duplex capability, are self-configurable, require no
PC memory. It would be easier for me to deal with one vendor so I am ready to
accept Cabletron's offer if I only knew that the cards are indeed at least
comparable with 3Com or Asante cards.

Does anybody know about any problems with those cards? Software or hardware
related? I would appreciate any comments you may have on the subject.
Thanks,
