We're not coming home.
Just box up our things, send them out here. Jeff and Dane and crew have
arranged for us all to stay here working as RCCs in the halls over the
summer and next academic year, so we're all just going to stay out here and
keep the magic alive. :-)
Everyone I've spoken to of the conference attendees agree that this is one
of the finest conferences that they have ever attended. The quality of the
sessions and presentations was top notch in virtually every case, the food
and entertainment was great, the weather, of course, was splendid, and the
general tenor and atmosphere of the conference was incredibly upbeat and
friendly and happy the entire time. Not to mention, we all actually
learned a lot to help out in our various residential computing projects.

Finally, I think I speak for all the attendees (just this once :-) in
saying a huge thank you to the Stanford ResComp staff who produced
superhuman effort to put together this spectacular conference on such a
tight budget and time table. Jeff, Leigh, Sandy, Dane, Rich, Kayt, and
everyone else involved -- THANKS!
