Hi folks! We've received a barrage of phone calls from university
administrators interested in attending the conference but with a universal
problem: the inability to have the university cut a check and have it
in our hands by June 10th (this Friday). In light of this dilemma, we
have a solution. Go ahead and fax us the filled-out registration form and
then send us the check when it's ready. Our fax number is (415) 725-6227 -
please ensure that the cover letter indicates the fax is for the residential
computing department. With this fax, we will be able to reserve your place
at the conference. To make it even more convenient for those interested in
attending, we have extended the deadline to Wednesday, June 15th. If you
have any questions or concerns, please call our office at (415) 725-2739,
or send EM to <resnet94@lists.stanford.edu>

Stanford University is excited to present ResNet Symposium 1994
from Sunday, July 10 through Tuesday, July 12 at the Stanford campus.
ResNet '94 will examine and discuss the introduction of the "Information
Superhighway" into residential student life by bringing together those
who plan, implement, and support residential information technologies
such as in-room networking, residence-based computer clusters and video
technologies. Many aspects of such services will be addressed through case
studies, topic presentation, focus group discussions, and an exhibition faire
involving the products and services of hardware, software and service vendors.
This announcement contains the necessary materials for registration. Because
space is limited, we are only able to offer enrollment on a first come-first
served basis to the first 200 registrants.
To register for the conference program, complete the Registration Form below.
Please mail your Registration Form with a check made payable to Stanford
University to the address indicated by Friday, June 10, 1994. The University
cannot accept checks from banks outside the United States, therefore payments
from foreign participants should be submitted in a money order in U.S. dollars
through a U.S. bank. Credit cards are not accepted for payment of conference
costs.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION - $150
The conference fee includes entry to all 3 days of sessions, entry to the
vendor
exhibition area, and all meals beginning with dinner Saturday and ending
with a substantial coffee break late Tuesday morning. The only exception is
