An additional comment:  The learning curve has been uniform here working on
this--I didn't intend to single out our DOS folks.  On the UNIX side,
figuring out an optimal setup for the translator system isn't done yet.  We
are currently running the NFS server/AFS client with either of the
following parameters:

afsd -rmtsys
or
afsd -rmtsys -stat 2000 dcache 800 -daemons 3 -volumes 70

We are also running using a disk for AFScache.  We plan to use memory for
AFScache and measure performance improvement.

Again, any comments you might have on either the PC-NFS, NFS side, or
NFSxAFS translator would be most welcome.
