Resnet-folk,
Thanks to those of you who sent in participation proposals. Unfortunately the
responses we received were heavy on case studies and light on topic
presentations and discussion facilitators. We would like to find more folks
interested in presenting or leading discussions. The deadline for these has,
therefore, been extended. Please don't send us any more case studies, though,
as we have plenty already.
Topics include, but are not limited to the list from the original posting which
includes the following:
Physical plant* Activation equipment
Printing services Software services
Support issues* Funding models*
Video services Security
Privacy and ethics* Network management*
Leasing programs Residential programming
Computer Clusters Policy issues
Topics with stars next to them indicate that someone has already submitted a
proposal to cover that topic or an aspect of that topic.
I will also spend some time going over my archive of the resnet-forum traffic
and may contact some of you who seem to have particular interests to gently
coerce you into participating.
