At MIT we provide MacTCP and LAN WorkPlace for DOS.

Our license with Novell does allow us to distribute it to students in residences.

We do not charge for this software either for staff or student use.

Ah, the difficult question. I hope there is some discussion of promoting responsible use at the
upcoming Resnet'94 meeting. We currently do not have students sign any agreement. We do a
number of things which we hope will educate students to act responsibly but we are looking for
more ways of doing this. Since we have students working in each of the dorms we try to provide
them with training in this area and have them help in promoting responsible use.
