another meeting of interest

I agree with Dan Updegrove that a BoF or informal meeting at one or many of the
upcoming other meetings would be very useful for those who plan to attend.
In fact, I wonder how many of us will be at Siguccs next week and/or CAUSE in
early December.
There is another meeting I would like to point to:
The Seminars on Academic Computing, held in Snowmass, Colorado, 7-10 August,
94 will be celebrating their 25th anniversary. I know for a fact that one of
the parallel sessions will deal with residential student computing as will one
of the discussion groups. This would make an additional natural time to meet.
Jeff's suggestion to meet at Stanford in late spring/early summer is still
something I would like to see us pursue. The complexities are such that we
have enormous amounts to share and learn from each other.
