My name is Ron Pike and I'm with California State University, Chico. I would
love to see a sharing of this type take place. We're just starting to
address this issue and I know a sharing of user documentation would be
extremly beneficial for us. Perhaps once we get going we'll have something
to give back to the group.

Subject: Sharing of materials? (WAS: Windows and IP)

We are about to begin the startup of residential networking this summer.
We have essentially the same setup as Joe Holmes describes below running on
our test machines. It looks quite good and goes a long way to achieve a
sense of parity with what the Mac community can do using MacTCP.

Now, we need to put into place the user documentation, installation
procedures, ... to allow people to install this stuff quickly and with
minimal staff intervention. I would love to start a sharing process for
these installation and training guides.

If there's sufficient interest, I'll be happy to make space on our gopher
server to facilitate the information sharing.
