We support only the Macintosh. The System software and installers are all
on an AppleShare server along with lot of other telnet emulation and shareware.
We assume the student will do their own installation if possible, but provide
telephone or on-site support if necessary. About 90% of the students manage
their machines without help. Application support is different though, as
opposed to system support. Many more come for help with text processing and
printing. This is partly due to our requirement for a senoir thesis, which
means each senior is producing a footnoted small book.
