"Boring" Street View lawsuit against Google finally ends - With $1 owed
http://bit.ly/gYOeWT (TechCrunch)
You may recall back in 2008 when Aaron and Christine Boring sued
Google after a Street View vehicle accidentally went down their
private road. This case has been bouncing around the courts ever
since. Most charges were quite rightly dismissed last year, and the
Supreme Court (!) chose not to hear their appeal. The single
remaining charge -- trespass -- has been pending. The judge has found
Google guilty on that charge and awarded the Borings ... $1.
My original discussion of this silly case from 13 April 2008 is at:

And here's how NBC Nightly News covered the case (including my very
brief sound bite) on 10 April 2008:

(And no, that's not my office! My segment was taped in a staffer's
handy office deep within the NBC Burbank studio complex.)
