Concerns rising over tracking potentials in HTML5

Cavalier or arrogant attitudes toward this issue, or toward
cookie-related issues in general on the part of Web service providers,
greatly increases the probability of draconian legislation with likely
very significant collateral damage. Downplaying the significance of
these issues is extremely perilous and invites overreactions.
