Federal Appeals Court Rules Against FCC Net Neutrality Authority

I believe it's safe to say that most observers (including myself)
expected this result from the current case. However, the referenced
story accurately notes that a key moving forward is reclassification
of ISP services from Title I to Title II -- an action that the FCC is
already comtemplating and that I believe could be an effective step
in the right direction.
Yes, any such action is likely to end up back in court, but as the
entire nation's (in fact, the entire world's) communications
infrastructure -- including basic voice services -- moves onto the
Internet, a very strong case can be made that the time has come for
such a reclassification and attendant regulatory focus to take place.
