Iran trying to block VPNs

http://j.mp/ZBQssR (New York Times)

"Iranian authorities have blocked the use of most "virtual private
networks", a tool that many Iranians use to get around an extensive
government Internet filter, Iranian media quoted an official as saying
    on Sunday."

Of course, this does not mean that all such access has been
effectively blocked by the regime, especially "less conventional"
tunneling and proxy approaches.
