Google's Kent Walker: "Let's Fight the Patent Trolls"

   "Last year alone, more than 4,000 patent lawsuits were filed in the
    U.S; it's the highest number ever recorded. Software and internet
    patents are litigated about nine times more often than other patents.
    Many of those suits seek to exploit low-quality software patents.
    Increasingly, these lawsuits are filed by plaintiffs who never did the
    hard work of actually creating a real product or service related to
    the patent claim."

I agree with him 100% on this.
