Kaspersky: "World teeters on cyber-war brink"
http://j.mp/KIIFll (ITWire)
"Reprising many of the themes he addressed at the Auscert conference in
Queensland last week, Mr Kaspersky, the chairman and chief executive
officer of Kaspersky Lab, today warned delegates at Cebit that
cyber-warfare and terrorism was the number one internet threat facing
the world today."

Kaspersky is a good example of what I call a "cyber-scaremonger," and
his naivete regarding the risks of online voting, which go far beyond
"100% biometric ID" (whatever the hell that actually means -- there is
no 100% in this stuff) is frankly dangerous.
