California to rape victims: If you report your rape, you may end up in jail

"It also pits a Penal Code section that allows for warrants to ensure
material witnesses "appear and testify" against the state's Code of
Civil Procedure, which says you can't "imprison or otherwise confine"
sexual assault victims who refuse to testify."

violation of the victim's rights.
