Tennessee lawmaker channels Taliban for underwear ban

"A House subcommittee on Wednesday approved Memphis Democrat Joe Towns'
proposal that would prohibit any students from showing their underwear
in the way they dress. WPLN radio reported the measure would require
female student athletes to wear shirts over sports bras."

Just call him Taliban Tennessee Towns. Amusing to see the Tennessee
legislature is prioritizing their issues in a manner keeping in line
with the morality police that are a fixture of some of the most
oppressive governments on the planet. Be sure to outfit the local
cops with cat o' nine tails to deal with violators on the spot.
That'll show the citizenry who's the boss!
