How AI agents can fall for fake e-commerce sites

For example, there are fake e-commerce sites all over the Net. They
rip off product images and descriptions from legit sites, show lower
prices, and bundle them into completely normal looking sites which can
require very careful judgement and inspection to reveal they're not
legit. Anyone telling an AI agent to go find them the best price for a
product and then buy it for them could be doubly damaged. Not only do
they not get the product they "ordered", but their payment method is
likely compromised as well. -L
