Teacher accidentally makes nude photo "public" on Facebook, forced to resign

"School Superintendent Rick Colpitts said Tuesday that Withee intended
to send the explicit photo to a friend but ended up making it public
to his Facebook friends. Withee told Colpitts that the photo was
posted for 10 minutes - long enough to be seen by a parent who alerted
school administrators."

Posting nude photos of yourself (even if intended for audiences of
one) is always a risky proposition that shows a relative lack of
judgment in certain respects. However, I am troubled by the reaction
and resignation in this case, given the circumstances as reported.
