Addendumn: Commodus and the 12 years
Oh, by the way, the reason why Commodus' time as emperor is usually
considered to be 12 years (nearly 13), even though his reign was from
177 to 192, is because for the first few years he served as co-emperor
with his father. The real fun began when he had the empire all to
himself.
