Amazon's new shopping AI Slop -- you can tell it "f"-off, but it won't

Amazon users are livid over the Alexa AI Misinformation Slop Invasion
features now contaminating many searches on the Amazon web site and
app. This feature cannot be disabled completely without using 3rd
party extensions, which on general principles I would not recommend on
a shopping site where payment credentials and other personal
information can appear. The Alexa sidebar replete with useless AI slop
comments about your search and your prior purchase history can be
closed, but will likely pop up again on another search. You can tell
it to "f*ck off" and it claims it will go away, but of course it
won't. Adding "-alexa" on search queries seems to suppress this Alexa
AI feature, but may also cause valid searches to return zero results
in error. Not all searches will trigger the Alexa AI. If you were
looking for another reason to not use Amazon, you can add this sick
nightmare intrusive AI Slop feature to your list. -L
