YouTube's deep contamination
YouTube is utterly contaminated with short videos that are being
ripped off of other videos in enormous quantities by AI systems. The
same sequence may appear in hundreds or even thousands of videos, with
the same script overlayed in different fonts, sometimes with the video
reversed left-to-right, sometimes with new imagery replacing the
original, obviously chosen by AI via mass automated scripts. It's a
total cesspool that is starving the original creators of views and
whatever revenue that might have made. YouTube/Google is entirely
complicit in this, because they get the clicks no matter how deeply
the videos have been pirated from their original creators. -L
