Annoyed by "Google Lens" in the Chrome omnibox?
Annoyed by the "Google Lens" tag in the Chrome omnibox? Wanna kill it? Go to:
chrome://flags
Search for "lens". Look for the "overlay" result.
You get a bunch of choices. You can disable Lens completely, disable
it in the omnibox (in this case, it would still be available on a
right click), etc.
Lens is especially annoying because it wants to examine entire pages,
rather than only the specific area of interest. If you've got private
stuff on your page, you may not want to feed the entire page up to
#Google unnecessarily. Or maybe you do. You decide.
