A new regression in the TV interface version of YouTube

Here's a rather inane regression in the TV interface version of
YouTube. Until a day or two ago, there were separate Thumbs Up and
Thumbs Down buttons on the UI, to Like or Dislike the current video.
Those have now been combined into one button, with both thumbs up and
thumbs down on it. If you click it, you'll get a panel where you can
choose Like or Dislike. BUT ... the new combined button, unlike the
individual buttons that used to be present, does not change to show
whether you already Liked or Disliked that video. It looks the same
for Like, Dislike, or if you never chose either! The only way to know
is to click that button and look at the resulting Like/Dislike panel,
which does show this info. A new way to waste users' time. Does anyone
at Google actually dogfood this stuff anymore before pushing it to
prod? Jeez. -L
