The Brazil/X situation is nothing to make light of
I must note that suggestions that Brazil doesn't lose anything by
cutting off X are in my opinion not looking at the big picture. Many
firms and other organizations still depend on X to get critical
information out to customers and populations, including weather
alerts, etc. In many cases there simply aren't alternatives with
anything approaching the same reach. And Brazil ordering #Apple and
#Google to block VPNs in this manner sets a terrible precedent. This
is a bad situation all around and nothing to make light of. -L
