Google finds new way to push their horrible AI Overviews

Oh whoopee. Now when you scroll down some #Google Search results
pages -- I'm not sure what triggers this yet -- Google pops a floating
"Overview" bubble they want you to click to go back up to the top to
read the useless, often wrong, and sometimes hazardous AI Overviews.

Google, stop pushing this garbage in our faces. Give us a way to turn
it off when logged in without having to use ephemeral workarounds.

Show some respect for your users. I know that's a tough slog for you
these days when you're in an AI Hype Panic, pushing out horrible AI
generative content because you're terrified your competitors will win
the horrible generative AI content war. But in memory of the old
"don't be evil" Google, you could at least try. -L
