The $1.25 voice recognition lamp
A few days ago I saw a Big Clive YouTube video where he tore apart a
super-cheap voice-activated LED light. No connections to anything
except power. The magic appears to be a single mystery chip inside. By
sheer coincidence, the exact same product landed in my hands an hour
ago. The cost: $1.25.
Powered from any USB-A adapter. Wake phrase is, "Dome Lamp" -- at
which point it blinks.
You can then tell it to go on, off, brighten/dim (blinks when you hit
a limit) or change between several not very different colors. Works
very well and I already have a use for it.
No cloud. No Google. No Amazon. $1.25.
