YouTube's new AI feature's "side-effect"

So YouTube has this new feature (probably Premium only right now)
where you can use their super duper AI to jump directly to where the
super duper AI thinks the important part of the video is, so you don't
have to bother watching anything else we lucky humans. Now of course
it seems to me that a side-effect of this could be drastically reduced
watched times for videos, and so lower payoffs from Google to the
creators. Working as intended, indeed -- so maybe the main planned
effect after all, not the side-effect! -L
