Amit makes a number of highly pertinent points. Comparisons with
Microsoft's antitrust problems are utterly specious, as anyone who
really understands the MS cases should find obvious.
And indeed, what of the *users* in these debates? Google is
constantly adapting to what its users want -- that's why it has
been so successful. The complaints about Google's search results
seem to come mainly from a small set of parties (and in some cases,
their "astroturf" allies) who are upset because their attempts at
gaming Google's results via SEO tricks have either failed or have
become decreasingly successful.
