Greetings. I just viewed a very short (~9.5 minutes) new video TED
Talk by Lesley Hazleton called:
"On reading the Koran" -- http://bit.ly/fXsJnG (TED)
I believe it is very much worth watching.
How does this relate to privacy? Trumped up fears about Islam have
become a basis for civil liberties/privacy intrusions in the U.S. of
a sort we never would have tolerated in the past. Perhaps it would be
useful if we all knew a bit more about the underlying realities, not
just the FOX "News" distorted "catering to racists" versions.
